I am with you
This painting is based on Isaiah 41:9-10. “I said, ‘You are my servant’, I have chosen you and not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
The original is oil on block canvas and painted around the edges, so that it can be hung unframed. It measures 24” x 20”

TREVOR IRWIN
Stunning Work of art with a powerful message. Jesus said I will never leave you. He paid the ultimate price to do that.
In the garden of Gethsemane, when he asked His father to take the cup of suffering that lay before him away from him, It was not the Cross he feared that caused him to ask this of his father. It was not the fact that he knew that soon they would arrest him, beat him at a whipping post, pull the very hairs from his face, drive nails into his hands and feet and raise him up on a cross. It was something more terrifying that all this. It was that he knew that when he was on the cross, he would be forsaken, alone, separated from his Father. “MY God, My God, why have you forsaken me” he cried. He was separated from His fathers Presence. He never was separated before. He paid the price so we should never be alone. never alone, No never alone. We have Jesus with us and in us. Thank you For sharing this beautiful painting, and the blessings these words bring. http://www.philadelphia33.org/

Thank you so much Trevor for taking the time to write such a powerful response to my painting. The message has been very important and meaningful to me too.
May God bless you. Sue
