Thoughts, random and considered.

Pictures paint themselves across my path,
life and time go by,
the moment is forever and so short,
I watch the light dance,
Pleased with myself that I can see
sad to think that one day I will go,
behind me strewn the glories of the past.
The new day starts for someone else,
what comfort.

This is somewhere that I am at too…We tend to forget that one day our time will cease…someone else will experience the joys that are so briefly ours.
    Beautiful and bittersweet!

Yes Sandy, it is wise to remember that we have the moment, and to enjoy it!
Art has given me such a sweetness to life, as you have experienced also.
    Here’s to drawing and painting,

I’m not a painter – but a writer. My love of words though equals love of art. These words by Ralph Waldo Emerson can refer to any form of ‘communication’ “Eloquence is the power to translate a truth into a language perfectly understandable to the person to whom you speak”
The eloquence can be displayed in all mediums of communication. If a painter has a message and manages to reveal that message through their art – then how rewarding must that be and how privilaged are those who experience the gift. – I love your work Jean.

    Thank you Jean
