Thank you all for your kind comments, I think this was my grandmother but cant be sure,I grew up on the west coast of Scotland, where Robert the Bruce and William Wallace hailed.
The links courses around Troon are wonderful.
I think the spirit is in me. Now I play down here in Oz, not too shabby the golf couses here either!
