Vase and Flowers

It’s true that you can find inspiration almost everywhere. I found these in dollar store along with a couple of foam whiteboards. I shot this with natural light using the whiteboards to direct some of it for dramatic effect.

what are you shooting with? this is also beautiful

  • Myron Watamaniuk replied

I use a Olympus E-410. I don’t usually tell anyone because many people judge the work based on the equipment. The equipment doesn’t really matter, other then the ability to shoot in Raw. Thank you very much for your comments and question.

Well I gotta tell you the results are incredible.. I agree with you it really doesn’t matter what you shoot with as long as you get the results you want.. I was just so impressed with the sharpness of the images.. I was curious what you used to make your images with.. thank you for sharing the info with me.

Thanks again. My best tool for this kind of shot is the tripod. I control the aperature and keep a low iso. As a result the exposure time is up to about a second. It keeps everything nice and sharp. But i also use a high pass sharpening technique to enhance the details without making it to extreme. Thanks for an engaging comment. By the way, your portraits are incredible. You really have a talent for capturing “The Moment”.
