In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)

This a terrific pic mark, love the blurred background

  • thanks Malcolm,
yeah I love how it turned out – minimal depth of field to get the focal effect – round about f4 from memory, 18 frame hdr to get the depth of tone, then layered the colored roses over a black and white of the same images… came up a treat!!
