A close up of the top of my wood fire stove, a 1927 Crown. The ring are part of the top that can be removed so you can pack it with kindling to start the fire. Something I do everyday ;)

In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)
