Lucy, one of our horses, I swear she’s psychic – beautiful shot, just as I’m about to take it ,.. she turns around and gives me the eye – but, another beautiful shot ;) For me it’s all in the eyes!

In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)

She’s thinking “What is he up to now?”. Lovely capture!

  • knowing her, I tend to agree with you! Talk about the moment – I was using a slow shutter speed, so had the camera on a tripod and was using a 2 second time delay to get around movement, – then she turned and looked :)
