Horses coming in, dog watching – a little like Radar in Mash with the choppers, some dogs are out barking before you hear or see the horses. I like the tones in this one, had very little to do in post processing to get this. I think it also reflects the ‘timeliness’ or natural clock of the world.

In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)

Nice one Marky! A great farm life shot.

  • thanks Jordan, I love the interplay between the dog (Doug Ford’s dog Jack – up on holidays) and little Joe.
