In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)

  • more of that late afternoon effect – all those years of shooting low light paid off – the sun, even when almost gone, is far more consistent than lighting at a rock show ;) It’s funny, I think I find working with restriction, easier than when you can have anthing – ie studio setting…. ah my next digital hurdle…
