the first thing I’ve shot digitally that I’ve liked. Fully manually taken – nothing set to ‘auto’ (which I can’t handle). Working out how to set aperture and shutter speed, etc on the dslr has been the biggest pain. But last time I really shot was 15 years ago with a kodak T70…
I really like the focus on this and the detail in the concrete. Thank fully they were well behaved and didn’t move much :)

In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)
