Some old star pickets lying on an old table, waiting to be straightened, have the rust brushed off and used again. Couldn’t resist capturing the rust in this ight !

In the 1990’s photography for me was about SLR’s & dark rooms, it was about printing your shots at 3-6am to ‘beat the light’ in you homemade darkroom to get your shots to press. I worked in music, hair and a little news, but love portraiture. Now I use a digital slr, but try to replicate shot control like in the old film days. I now longer make my living out of photography, but prefer to better my life by embracing a passion ;)

Yopu capture what most folk would pass by Mark another great image

  • thanks Malcolm, when I was doing the mower blades, I saw the star pickets I still hadn’t cleaned up, and realised just how tactile that rust tone was, I could almost feel it with my eyes! So in the middle of everything went and grabbed the camera – glad I did!
