Substantial evidence exists that a Connecticut pioneer, Agustive Whitehead flew before the Wright Brothers in 1901 in Bridgeport CT.
Currently at the Connecticut Air & Space Center a full scale replica is being restored by the builder, Andy Koch. Originally built by Andy in 1986, he successfully flew his replica and proved that the design was indeed flyable. Not only that but it also proved the design to be far more versatile and easier to fly than the Wright flyer.
This unique design is the official logo for the restoration of the replica at the CASC, and with every purchase a percentage will go back to the restoration.
