Take Me Away
A poem of love which I penned in 2001.
You take me away to another place
Where all I can see is the smile on your face
Where all I can feel is the touch of your hand
Where we have not a care, where negativity is banned
Where all I can sense is your soft, sweet gaze
Where I stare into your eyes in a loving daze
Where my emotions for you can be shown with a touch
Where we can feel that our love means so much
Where you tenderly kiss me and take my breath away
Where we wish we may never see the end of the day
Where my love and your love intertwine
Where I can tell you that you truly are mine
Where you can tell I love you with all of my heart
With my mind, my body, my spirit, my art
Where I love you so much it brings me to tears
Where our love will last all through the years.
