Dealing with chronic fatigue (CFS)
After two years of different kinds of therapy, individual and group, I’m still struggling with this awful illness.
I’m still in treatment but I’m losing hope that I will ever get out of this, it feels like a dead end.

Digital work, tools used: poser, inkscape and photoshop.

All Products

surreal, inspired by pain

I use Poser 5 in combination with Photoshop CS2, both are old versions but they do the job for me.
I always use the basic Poser figures, never use purchased objects, I don’t use a wacom, it’s all done with the mouse.

From time to time I use stock images.

A splendid work, strong and moving !!!
La création peut-elle d’une certaine façon constituer une thérapie ?

  • Le seul point positif est que ma maladie me donne l’inspiration et aussi un peu de soulagement…

    Merci pour ton superbe commentaire

What is confusing in this image is that we feel body’s pain
and in the same time there’s a sort of huge serenity…..
    acceptance ?
Your creativity and imagitave world are , if not a solace, at least a special oxygen and strenght….
Further more, I find it very brave you express your pain and probably doubts that way…

    Wonderful image

Gosh, this really stands out for me, it is a unique perspective of feeling that thoughts will win, but I know from my own experience that I have won. I keep feeling and when I don’t feel good I ask myself what am I thinking and when I realize my thinking is what feels like that dead end, I choose to think a thought that feels better. just a bit better… and then that little glimmer of hope appears in that dead end street… and relief feels good…
such an amazing artist you are, I’d start there, my ability to create is MASSIVE!! you are Creator!

  • Thank you so much for your inspiring words it really means a lot to me… and don’t worry not all of my thoughts are negative.
Also thanks for the invite but I already submitted this to your group…

your work never fails to export my mind to another place……one that i remember as a youngster hiding in libraries and looking at book covers with great wonder….wanting to be apart of those other worlds that stared back at me from the fronts of all those books i didn’t need to read for i made the stories myself from the pictures that i looked into….a unique work and please never lose hope after all it takes so long to find it.

  • I’m glad I brought you back some pleasant memories. I very much appreciate your comment and concern… thank you.

Don’t let it win; USE IT! Inspired by pain that monster that renders my tears into rain, forever It seems I push the trees apart only to find more and this path I follow truly but a circle! Wannes you give me strength; for I see a woman who fights pain every day, yet from this pain you create enigmatic marvels that summon my mind into bliss with they beauty! Your soul is a master of creation! Keep pushing on my friend! Bravo, bravo!!!…)o(

  • Thank you so much for your inspiring words my friend, although my english is limited I always enjoy reading your comments…
Btw It’s not a woman that you see but a man (lol)
