awww gee! Thanks very much!!
This really made me smile Jan. Great shot and such a super title
Thanks so much!! It is part of a little story that I happened to catch with the camera: the Mom groundhog found the tomato, Baby wanted it. Right after this picture, Mom growled and chased Baby away – - she didn’t want to share! Then Baby came inside the fence up against the house and helped himself to an unripe tomato from the garden! Thanks so much for the fave!!
That’s really cute!
Thank you very much!! Sadly, the mum groundhog got hit by a car and killed last May. I don’t know what became of the baby. I hope there will be another groundhog family in the neighborhood in a month or two!
I’m really sorry to hear that. I hope the baby survived and that you have another family to watch soon.
Super cute, such a shame to hear that mom was run over …
:-( Yes, I wept for a week. I believe her littlest baby is now living in her burrow and has a baby of its own . . . of course I can’t get them to wear identity tags so I don’t know for certain!! But there are two or three out there this year!!>blows kiss<.*.Jan
Thanks! I was in the right place at the right time! Our winter has been so cold for so long that I am pretty sure they are still hibernating – - – maybe this coming week will be warm enough to wake them up! ;-D>blows kiss<.*.Jan
This is darling!!!
;-D They are cute, but don’t make them angry . . . . you won’t like them when they’re angry . . . ;-D Thank you very much for the kind words and the favorite!! ;-D>blows kiss<.*.Jan
