Pink bells of the pieris japonica snowed under on 18 March 2013. Don’t worry – - – the snow was gone about 2 hours later – - – no muss, no fuss!

First day of Spring yesterday and this lovely image captures the imagination – love the muted pink against the crispy white snow, Jan – blink and the snow will have disappeared and the birds will be twittering in the tree tops – >hugs< xx

  • ;-D That snow was the 18th, and on the first full day of spring (yesterday) it was freezing and freezing again today. . .. and expecting more snow on Sunday evening! The roads and most of the ground is too warm for it to stick or last very long, but what is going on?!!? We haven’t had any snow over an inch – - nothing to shovel – - for 2 years now!! It is supposed to be spring, not winter! Mother Nature is a wee tad confused! ;-D
