Self Portraits are really hard to do. This is shot with three flashes.
One SB-900 in a Lastolite 24’’ to camera left (Group A)
One SB-900 on a justin clamp to camera left and up, connected to a C-stand to act as a rim light, no diffusion, zoomed in to 200mm. (Group B)
One SB-R200 on a monopod, I am holding it off to camera right. (Group C)
There is an SU-800 commander on my D3s that is controling the action.
It took so long to take a picture, make corrections then take another one and so on with no help….
It is not perfect, but not everything you do is going to be (I think that it is the subject matter that is faulty). I will consider this a learning experience. Not a good picture, but not a bad picture either.
