Kyle Vs. Repeat mode by Kyle Jerichow

Currently unavailable for purchase

This is my first attempt at using the SB-900 in repeat mode or SU-4 mode

Taken with a D3s and 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

The main light is an SB-900 in a Lastolite ezbox. It is set to SU-4 mode with repeat on.

The fill light and the commander is an SB-900 attached to the camera via an SE-29 cord. It is set to RPT mode 8 times at 10 Hertz. It is being bounced off a silver reflector to the front of the camera.

This ended up taking about an hour to make the set up and get the exposure. (This is all one exposure by the way :) )

Using the multiple exposure feature? Love this!

  • Jan, no this is not using the multiple exposure setting. This was one long exposure, the SB-900 was set up to act like a strobe light adn the room was dark enough that you only see the subject once the flash goes off.
