I’m back at home base and things are a bit grey…Got me thinking about some of my old images, this one is a couple of years old, it reminds me of turning around on the street, looking back and being struck at the old Portugese architecture against the industry and smog of modern day China, the shapes of the machines on top of the newer buildings versus the facades of the colonial ones…The Christmas decorations are just another contradiction of the place. It’s a world of contrast and no place is that better emphasised than China. Hope you like it too!!

This is a wonderful shot – I love the architecture and you’ve got just the right perspective – like how the street kind of disappears into the haze
