Although at times we feel as if a part of us dies, we need to remember that there is a resurrection, of our souls and others. That love ones who have past and us can be Together Forever. However, if we are in pain, we should not keep that inside; we must find the way to cry if we need to. We are humans. That’s the message I understood from this song. No one dies, they will remain in our memories forever and if part of us dies, we can be rebirth into our own selves, experiencing pain, but overcoming grief, step by step. It will not heal all at once. What a lovely message! Life and Death are part of our Life’s experiences. They say men should not cry, but even in 1988 when he released this song it was still a taboo subject for Latin Men to cry. Dusty Springfield “The Look Of Love” (1967) Music written by Burt Bacharach & lyrics written by Hal David.

“The Look of Love” is a popular song. Since its first appearance in the 1967 James Bond film Casino Royale, it has become synonymous with lounge and easy listening music.

The song was sung by Dusty Springfield for the Casino Royale soundtrack, and was nominated for an Oscar. Springfield re-recorded the song the same year in London and released the song as the B-side of “Give Me Time”.

Claudine Longet recorded the song on her 1967 album of the same title. Lainie Kazan also recorded “The Look of Love” (arranged by Pat Williams) on her 1967 album Love is Lainie. Sergio Mendes’ hit rendition on the Sergio Mendes & Brasil ‘66 album Look Around, reached #4 on the pop charts after their performance in the Academy Awards telecast in March 1968. The lead vocal on this single was handled by Janis Hansen, not Lani Hall, a rarity in the early Brasil ‘66 canon. In 1969, soul group The Delfonics also covered the song on their album La La Means I Love You. During 1970, Isaac Hayes covered the song for his 1970 album …To Be Continued. yup, that’s it! Love that and can’t listen to it on any website. Something is wrong with my browser, won’t play any sounds at all from the internet. I don’t know what is up with that, but nothing I try in the browser settings seems to work. Wah!

My problems started when I had someone remove a virus thing. My computer locked up and I paid a wizard to come and get it unlocked, but since then I have had other problems that I can’t resolve. Most of them I can live with, but not having sound is nuts. I have it for other stuff, just not internet connections, even though the parameters are set to allow sounds. I just don’t get it and can’t afford another wizard. Maybe somebody will read this and offer a suggestion.

Not yet, but I may at least ask what to do or if they know. I had a really serious problem and they actually saved the day for me, so I expected some things to be lost or different, but this seems so simple and is clearly not a hardware, but a software or setting problem. Anyway, I may give them a shout. Thanks for that suggestion, though.
