Keeping Thanks in Thanksgiving!!

I took this photo of our daughter (who is now 6…2009) on 5-17-2004. She is sitting originally on the hearth of our fireplace. I had been taking several shots of her for a photogenic contest she was entered in. This one happened at just the right moment….she was clapping actually, but I think it looks so much like she’s praying!! The photogenic contest title was “Dear God, please make mommy stop taking my pictures.” LOL It won!! woohoo :o)
So I just thought I’d make the background black, and use it as a Thanksgiving card! I love it…and I hope you all do as well!!
Just a note: It’s amazing how much she’s grown up!!

Thank you so much Kim!! I honestly just used my paint brush, matched the black in the background of the fireplace, and then painted the background black. It isn’t easy…and very time consuming, but worth it in the end. :o)
