STAINED BY THE RAINA series of 4 abstract images all of which were cropped from shots I took of a large piece of construction-grade plywood that had been stained by the rain. NIKON COOLPIX point & shoot camera.
I am a photographer and a writer. If you enjoy odd, short stories, I have a folder in my RB portfolio titled “Short Stories / Writing.”
Who woulda thunk it? Nature is such a creative artist and you for seeing this to share!!
That’s what makes an artist, I guess. I wonder how many people walked by this and never so much as gave it a glance. I’ve even caught people looking at me wondering what the heck I was doing stooped over focused on “junk!” LOL! I take away my little prizes in my camera! I guess my husband is grateful I’m not lugging the actual items home with me!; D Thanks so much for checking these out, V!Ellen
Nice of you to make the effort to leave me a nice comment, Scott!Cordially, Ellen
I’m afraid you and I would have a field day then, I want to go to a junk yard one of these days!!! Wanna come???
Put aside several hours – I’m a browser and a grazer! LOL! Wouldn’t that be fun!I’ll pack the lunch.xxEllen
You say when and I’m there all day!!! Yes, what fun this would be and considered crazy by some!!! I love it!!!
But Vivian – aren’t you in Scotland?
Philly – that’s more do-able! LOL! In Scotland they don’t throw anything away, anyway! LOL! Oops, did I just bash my Scottish RB friends? ; D
I DID do several hours in an auto wrecking yard. Got a couple of my best shots on that day!
I wish I were in Scotland, I’m in Pennsylvania USA!!!
Outstanding series, Ellen…I’m in love with your plywood!
