This swing hangs from a giant old eucalyptus tree. The Pacific Ocean was the backyard for the children who lived at the Old Point San Luis Lighthouse located around the point near Avila Beach, California. The lighthouse was built in 1890. The lighthouse keeper’s family lived with him.

  • Hi Teresa. Thank you for conducting the challenge and sending out the nice Banner. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to Host a Group. I’m surprised this topic (which is really wonderful as a challenge) didn’t have more entries. But I’m glad I had a chance to post this image since I really love backyard swings – so many nice memories. Thanks again, Teresa!
