Try saying THAT 3 times fast! These corroded beauties support a train track overpass on the California coast.
I am a photographer and a writer. If you enjoy odd, short stories, I have a folder in my RB portfolio titled “Short Stories / Writing.”
wow!!!thats great whats it holden up,or was, cheers fazza
Pretty scary, huh, fazza? The Amtrak and Union Pacific lines go over this trestle several times a day. I’ve walked under this trestle dozens of times. First time since I joined redbubble – sure learned to be more observant! I hope the train maintenance people are too! LOLOLO.Cordially, Ellen
Sensational AE! Wonderful natural abstract! :-DMake sure you put this fwd to the folk at Rusty Crusty :o)))
Gosh thanks, my friend Ellen! I sure will do that. It certainl belongs there.
Composition, composition, composition! This is perfectly captured, the textures, the structure and framing are spot on! Should be a big feature getter.
Oh, flattery will get you everywhere! LOL. Thank you so much. Some things achieve character as they age . . . This was a good day for a photo out-ing. A few minutes later I shot the farmhouse with the rainbow. Cordially, Ellen
*Your Work is FEATURED this week in the “Unknown, Unseen and Undiscovered… Group”.
Your work is outstanding! If we had an avatar or sign or bright sparkling lights we would announce it to the world. We thank you for being such an important member to our group. We can’t wait to see more.
CONGRATULATIONSJeff & Mike
Exceptionally kind of you. I applaud the Hosts for all the time they put into the difficult and time-consuming (voluntary) work. Thank you for donating your time and expertise. Cordially, Ellen

JILL! Thank you – I’m always so happy to see your cute little avatar with Bobby! Yes, those rusty gismos are so beautiful to some of us!!Have a nice weekend.Cordially, Ellen
I DID try to say it 3 times and was amazed I actually could … got in trouble once saying “I slit a sheet, a sheet I slit, and on a slitted sheet I sit” and since then shied away from such challenges…:-)I love rusty stuff too and this is an amazing find. Cool too how all the tones of the surrounds blend so nicely.Awesome!
You are sooo funny! I also shy from slitted sheets! Slot of that going around. This image shows a scary sight. This actually is one of the supports for a train trestle – on the coast of California where the Union Pacfic line travels several times a day. It looks abandoned and well it should be too!! Can you say “crumble?” (Only once . . .)Cordially, Ellen
