Part of an old piece of farm equipment. The opportunity was mine, getting to shoot this treasure chest of rusting cool things. Another opportunity is for the sprouting plant life, taking advantage of peep holes to stretch up towards the sun. And of course, the RUST! Don’t miss noticing the fresh little sprout sneaking through a bolt hole on the bottom of this shot.

Love this! The green against the rust is so good. Good angle/viewpoint.
Wonderful contrast the new vibrant green framed by the old rusty metal. Well done!
Thank you and well-critiqued!

We’ve got those exact weeds … ooops! I mean ‘plant-life’ here in Aus too ;o)))
One man’s weeds is another man’s garden.

Cool! Love the new Banner, Pops! Nice to see a fresh one. Layered flower petals echoed in the stucco textured background.
Thank you. Cordially, Ellen
Great find and great composition. Was that taken at the windmill house?
Yes! Wasn’t it fun scouting for cool things to shoot? I had the best time!

Very nice. I like how you have the plants growing up through it, almost like they’re reclaiming it.
Thank you Mark. This was shot on an old farm where there were many examples of rusted equipment and nature reclaiming the space! I liked the green and rust combination – complimentary colors on the color wheel. ; D
