Blown in the Wind by Sally Omar
Whispered cries at sunset
No one can hear
Blown In The Wind
She always feared
Life changes
From one moment to the next
It can be disheartening
She was perplexed
Blown from shelter
Turned out in the rain
Lonely and devastated
What a shame
A heart left sad
Lonesome and worn
Broken in pieces
Yes it was torn
Blown In The Wind
Can not be repaired
Will not regain
Or mend the tear
Stabbing pain
That makes her shudder
He won’t be back
Found another
Blown In The Wind
No helping hand
Solitary confinement
That was his plan
Shut her out
Tore her apart
Blown In The Wind
With a broken heart
