When asked how he came up with the idea for his photo, Billy Boy replied, “New Years Eve is worldwide, and what better way to celebrate it than getting nude and sending your cat to the moon?!”
While he was chuffed at being asked, he admitted to being a bit nervous about how “my family and relatives would react to seeing their wholesome little boy totally starkers in public”. But since his mom was cool with it, there was no problem!
Billy Boy’s image is a photomontage of six shots worked together over the course of a week. It took eight takes to get the perfect cat expression, and may have impacted on the cat’s opinion of his sanity!
He says that RedBubble is “The best outlet I’ve ever had for my passion for Photographic art, and the amazing gratification of being part of an awesome community and a fathomless talent pool, the quality of which is unparalleled. Plus a lot more girlfriends than I had before I joined.”
And just watch out for the army of Tassie Devils he’s breeding…!

Martin and Paul have combined artistically to provide us with an image that captures Martin’s passion for the land and Paul’s portrayal of the sense of freedom.
While Martin says this is not really how he sees himself, he thinks it’s great to be taken out of his comfort zone. As for modelling, “I thought the idea was great but felt it was great for somebody else. I have grown more comfortable with the idea but am more a cerebral than physical type so still find it a bit confronting”.
Even when not posing naked, Martin says “I am very playful, especially with my children. I love making up silly songs and ditties for them and they also enjoy it. I think that I will become increasingly more of an embarrasment for them as they grow older – but that is really part of my parental responsibilities”.
For Martin RedBubble has been about “deepening my own artistic experience and celebrating a shared adventure. This calendar is an example of how community created art can celebrate individual artistic endevour around a shared project for a great cause”.

With Opera House costumes and a neighbourhood team of enthusiastic models, makeup artists, seamstresses and ‘go-fors’, Mugsy’s March captures one of the most significant historical events of the month.
The photoshoot was full of humour and laughs, much like the man himself. Mugsy says he enjoys “the crazy and outrageous, providing it is not at the expense of others. I enjoy working with lateral thinking people who have a sense of humour. If I was a prescription drug my package insert would read: To be taken wherever and whenever needed. To be taken lightly. Half-life dependent on adrenalin intake.Fast response with elevated levels of humour . Adverse reactions include shortness of breath and heart palpitations when in close proximity to females. Works well when taken in conjunction with sincerity, commitment and integrity.”

I was approached to be an Italian gangsta. I must say I wasn’t all that sure if I could portray the role very well at first. I approached a relative to take some very simple photos of me in gear and when I finally put together the composition, I think I even amazed myself. Rose almost died when she found out that she had to send nude 3D chicks to a mere teenager (I just turned 20 in Oct).

Now, if you can go buy the calendar and the promotion tee that we put up, we’d be forever in debt to you.

Look out, Santa’s discovered Christmas is fabulously sexy this year! Karen has taken December and had her way with it, with the image idea coming from the mix of “Santa is Red…... Christmas Lights……. and I’m Sexy hahahhahhah……...... get it?”. While Santa was reluctant to head down from the North Pole (the footy was on tv), he settled into the role nicely once the stage was set and the camera was clicking.
The fun loving Karen says dirty jokes and a quick wit will make her laugh, and that she’s only serious when contemplating the next lot of fun!
She was excited about doing the calendar as “it’s my 50th Birthday in December this year too, so I was thinking this would be a fabulous thing to do for my birthday, not realizing that I am such a dipstick, that the calendar is for 2009……....but hey I don’t care……....I’ll use it this December!”
