Michael Bermi...
Great control Paul, I know from experience its hard to get the balance between blowing out the exposure on the buildings and waiting long enough to capture (2) strikes on one frame. Superb
Paul Tait
Hey Michael – I took buckets of photos that night – only this one really captured it. I was so impressed!

How beautiful! (Thanks for your comment)
Eyal Nahmias
Wonderful capture. Sky and bolt are well captured and exposed. Citiscape complement the comp, and adds to the dark and stormy night. I don’t know if you shoot in raw, but if so, by selecting the buildings and then adjust levels on them, the details in the dark shadows will pop out. Image will have an even more striking effect. ( I guess strikink is the leading word here :-)
Michael J Armijo
Great lightning bolts…and simply EXCELLENCE in photography!
Paul Tait
Thank you Ellen, Eyal and Michael. Eyal, I do shoot in Raw mode so I will try what you are suggesting. I really appreciate the detail you have replied with.
