I would really like to have a go at painting this , would you mind ,? I don’t know when, I lead such a busy life ,I don’t know when I will have the time . But I would try and find some time in the near future , I haven’t painted for ages but this picture has inspired me to get the brushesout again .

I’ve had the worst week ever shooting and this just fell in my lap so to speak. Sometimes I need to stop fighting trying to get a shot and go with the flow and let it happen…if you know what I mean?

a lot to glean from this image…..the lighting, the framing, the clarity, the subject, the atmosphere, the questions..what happened to the lonely one, who broke his heart or does he just enjoy solitude…...all comes together to form a great image!
ps is the plaster work in the background painted onto the wall or is it real?

Von, This is one of my favorites. Wonderful composition. I used to play the guitar as well and that was a time of solitude. It can carry you away from everything. Wow!!! Love this.

A friend had left it a few days before and after I was done shooting I couldn’t very well pour it back in the bottle…so I drank it! (not all just what was in the glass and a little more)
