A November view from Black Crag above Tarn Hows in the English Lake District looking to the valleys of Little Langdale and Great Langdale.The fells on the skyline are Crinkle Crags and Pike O’Blisco, Bowfell, Rossett Pike,the Langdale Pikes (Pike O’Stickle,Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark,) High Raise and Greenup Edge. The central “lump” is Lingmoot that seperates Little Langdale (left) from Great Langdale (flanked on the right by the ridge from Seargeant Man to Silver Howe.The small dip to the left of Lingmoor is where you find the lovely Blea Tarn.Centre right are the villages of Elterwater and Chapel Stile.
The shot below was taken by Elterwater Village in the right of this shot,looking across Lingmoor the following month.
