Taken on my Sunday stroll to Wise Een Tarn on Claife Heights in the Lake District National Park on 4th Nov 2012. I climbed the small hill behind and managed to get a view of both tarns at Wise Een. Both are dammed. The footpath passes the smaller dam wall. The first snows of the season had arrived on the 1st Nov but the night of the 3rd saw a decent fall above the 1000 foot level.
Pay close attention to the treeline on the left.It appears in a shot from a day later when I did a footpath patrol on the heights behind.
