Not many of these left these days. A wall post box from the reign of Queen Victoria ( 1837-1901) in the hamlet of Colthouse near Hawkshead in the English Lake District.(VR stands in this case for Victoria Regina and not Voluntary Ranger)
Although the first Victorian wall boxes were installed around 1857,this is a later type,but would be before 1901.
