Another shot from my journey to Gairloch in Wester Ross,NW Scotland from my home in the English Lake District. Leaving Loch Lomond (see below) we headed towards Rannoch Moor and on to Glen Coe.At the edge of Rannoch Moor, I stopped and took this 4:1 panorama of the Black Mount, which according to Wikipedia is a mountain range located in Argyll and Bute, in the Highlands. It is situated between Glen Orchy and Glen Coe. Its four Munros (Scottish mountains over 3000 feet) include Stob Ghabhar, Stob a’ Choire Odhair, Creise and Meall a’ Bhuiridh. And that’s not easy to say.The body of water is a lochan called Lochan Na h-Achlaise.
