Tuesday 13th March saw me and a certain terrier taking a stroll by Rydal Water in the English Lake District. We wandered by Rydal Water,Grasmere and Loughrigg Tarn, circling Loughrigg Fell before coming back down Fox Ghyll to Pelter Bridge and a well deserved ice cream.
The title of this shot is taken from the names of the 3 different stretches of open water that I passed.
These stepping stones carry the footpath across the River Rothay and on to Ambleside. They are near Pelter Bridge. The River flows from Grasmere and through Rydal Water and eventually into Windermere.
This is one of a series of shots taken along the way.
