Well,it’s not actually my bottom. It’s Dalebottom on the road from Keswick to Ambleside in the English Lake District. We’d driven through on the way to Castlerigg Stone Circle.(Where I took this shot) One of the farmers seemed to be having a fire. The smoke was filling the vale like mist. But there was also a lovely smell of woodsmoke..aaah.
This shot also acts as a continuation of Twixt Circle and Wall.
The snow covered mountains behind are left to right , the ridge down from the Dodds, Raise (883m) , Whiteside Bank (863m),Helvellyn (950m and England’s 3rd highest mountain) and Helvellyn Lower Man (925 m)
To the right is Dodd Crag on Castlerigg Fell.
