..more commonly known as Hard Crag farm ,Upper Brow Edge,Backbarrow in the English lake District. I liked the lone sheep trying to find some grass in the right hand field..it’s a hard life,even now.Imagine it 200 or more years ago.
This is for the Lord of the Manor now living in New Zealand.
His ancestors lived here and this is what he told me…“it was the 13th Feb 1758 when William Massicks with his wife Agnes Wilson left Hard Crag to move into Rose Cottage (Finsthwaite)
