Hard Crag Farm,Lake District National Park,Cumbria
Last Friday Tarn the faithful Patterdale and I took a stroll up out of the village onto High Brow Edge to the derelict farm of Hard Crag (see below for a different view)
I managed to get a bit closer this time for a good old rootle around.
This place was once occupied by the ancestors of Roy Massicks of New Zealand ..they seem to have left it in a bit of a mess. But it is over 350 years old and typical of the old hill farms of the district.
