ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. ! JUST THINK OF THE HOURS IT TOOK TO FIND THE RIGHT ROCKS AND PUT THEM IN PLACE.THESE BUILDING WOULD HAVE BEEN COLD…VERY COLD ,, WITH JUST THE FIRE PLACE FOR HEAT. BEAUTIFULLY CAPTURED JAMIE AND A THOUGHTFUL THING TO DO FOR YOUR FRIEND ROY.

  • Thanks Diane..I knew of this place but not the connection and it’s a lovely walk up there…

Another splendid view of the Massicks’s erstwhile pile. I am beyond intrigued by these connections.

  • And there’ll be more ancestral piles in due course..

I love it Jamie ! That hill behind it just makes the picture. Do you think if I moved in on the quiet anybody would notice ? Living in NZ I’d be used to the sheep.
    Roy

  • Cheers Roy,I think they might…there was a caravan off to one side and I think it is where the owners might be living pending reconstruction….
