Looking from the ridge from Glaramara above Seathwaite at the head of the beautiful English Lake District valley of Borrowdale ,past the diminutive Castle Crag in the “Jaws of Borrowdale” to Derwentwater and the distant mountain of Skiddaw as the evening light was beginning to fade on a Septembers walk to Allen Crags and Glaramara. The lonely Rowan tree with its red berries caught my eye.
