Walking all day to this place in the Cairngorm National Park in Scotland just to see the loch at the head of Glen Einich that we had glimpsed from the summit of Sgorr Gaoith,the peak to the extreme right of this shot. 13 mile round trip, we didn’t try to get any closer as the temperature had dropped and we were cold and weary.The old stalkers track seen here was hard and tiring to walk on for that distance.
Had to make do with this view…the view from Sgorr Gaoith the previous day is below and was well worth the climb

    I love the silence in this picture, the glorious light at the end of the road. The beautiful green mountain and the copper grass. Fantastic shot!
