The north side of Buttermere in the NW of the English Lake District National Park in Cumbria on a lovely November day.
The view west is to the fell of Mellbreak (Centre right) that sits on the shore of the next lake Crummock Water. The slopes of Red Pike on the High Stile range are seen to the left.
Buttermere is very popular with tourists and there is an easy walk of about 2 and a half hours around the lake.
