I am a native Fijian and my work is focussed towards a cross section between traditional and contemporary form. As a native I try to embrace some traditional forms with a contemporary twist to my work.

Art has been a way of life since growing up carving wood into art form was just the way of life.

Living here in Australia for over 30 years I have always been a follower of the art industry visiting museums and galleries and through the years have produced sculptures in clay and steel form as well paintings which was part of a Sydney Gallery opening where I sold pieces of my work.

Last year I was commissioned to complete a painting, along with a timber frame that I hand carved to create a complete piece – this incorporated the contemporary along with my tradition via the carving.

As a traditionalist with great admiration of the modern art form, the theme of all my works are focussed on chaos and colours, with the more radical twist of traditional / contemporary form and honesty that lies in the web of colours.
