Life is a quest. But, if at the end of my quest, all I end up with is a talking bird sitting on a gumball machine, I am not going to be happy. Wonderful work Vitaliy.

  • That what it is…..you get at the end of the quest whatever you deserve :-)….I actualy ment that at the end of the journey you value nothing material, you value intelect and wisdom (crow is a symbol of wisdom)…..but….it can end up with Alzheimer’s any way….LOL……

This is brilliant! I had the same thought as mobii (in the comments- if at the end of my quest, all I end up with is a talking bird sitting on a gumball machine, I am not going to be happy); except I very much suspect this is how it really is! Not that we will really find a raven on a gumball machine… even one that has a brain! I do think, all our “answers” despite centuries of seeking and research are probably as meaningless- compared to the Cosmic Realities (whatever they may really be). The end of the journey may well be a thud of disappointment: reminds me of that old song (“Is this all there is?”) Love this! Very thought-provoking – and I love your style here – the expression on the traveler’s face. As in “Damn! Tell me there was more than this!” lol

  • I think if we can see and feel the Universe we are beeg as the Universe, I strongly beleive that there is no end with the physical end….Nadya, is that right that you allways have to drop a quater in to a gumball machine to get a gum…….and you have to drop something in to a gumball machine of life to get some wisdom…… :-)

Great analogy! ha ha I agree. I also think, we can throw symbolic money into the machine day and night until the “crows come home” and still never get all the gumballs, though… there will always be more, more and more – a never-ending cache of infinite questions & infinite answers, in an infinite Universe. (I should say, MULTI-verse… that seems to be the latest theory; we are only one in another infinite array of universes – so they say – it’s enough to hurt even Einstein’s head! :)
