Everything you say in your notes are completely valid, but the essence of this picture is how the eyes look off camera, not quite paying attention to – or perhaps ignoring it. Of course by your admission its staged, but what I’m saying is you caught that magic tiny moment which if missed would have just made this an attractive picture instead of a really sublime one – huge congratulations ! PS on a purely technical level – the lighting is perfect…
