Light is a vital element of life, growth and vision.

A sense of place is just as important in the creation of a community.

Transcending differences in heritage, age, experience, and class, Visions of Light reaches into the heart of our culture.An exploration into the visual landscape of Adelaide and its surroundings, Visions of Light is a collaboration of 14 local photographers – all members of the Adelaide Camera Club.

Although these artists each have different stories to tell, the collection is brought together by its images’ origins – our city. Equally dynamic, inspiring, and poetic, these photographs are all set against the background of our city and each work captures the essence of the place that is our home.
