Door to Yesterday

Door to Yesterday

With childlike wonderment I explore the perimeter of this abandoned home, peering in the window panes, many which have been busted out. The door is padlocked, to keep me out. Curiousity burns inside me as I imagine the lives of the people that once called this place home.

The door is my time machine, allowing me to travel back in time. How I would love to visit my grandparents when they were young, and learn first hand about their lives before I was ever born.

This abandoned house can be found on Hwy 412 in Gordonsburg, TN.

Well padlocks are made to be broken, aren’t they? ;-) Awesome capture that certainly ignites my curiosity. I’d love to explore this old place.
