Sometimes, it doesn’t matter how strong you think you are – your spirits fall like dry sand, strength flees, and you cannot go on.

A walk on the dark side… I prefer to keep things light, but there’s always a flipside, and to know joy you must also know despair.

the sand falling away; it looks like maybe the soul breaking loose from the physical form. The whole image captures the pain of separation. Good work.

  • When the sand runs out, there’s nothing left but an empty, lifeless shell. Yeah, think I got the right symbolism happening. Great comment, Jed, thank you, glad you like :-D

It’s wonderfully emotional, though, and strong. An excellent image.

  • I guess powerful doesn’t always have to be pretty. Glad it worked – thank you :-)
