Turn the Red Dial

This is the engine room of a GIANT steam locomotive. I was just amazed at how many knobs it had, and they were all Red. These guys must have really known their stuff. I couldn’t even get them all in the shot at 17mm!

    Isn’t that fantastic, great shot of the inner works of one of my favorite machines, and my all time favorite handle. I even had those red handles installed in a bathroom once.

    Really nice shot.
    I don’t know trains, but I can see at least 4 level glasses that would account for 8 valve handles that wouldn’t need to be touched, plus 4 associated drain lines :) the nearest of which is missing it’s handle LOL. So I guess not too complicated for the guys that ran it :)
