Before turning to photography I worked in Theatre Marketing, which is where I first learned that actors needed regular photos.
Doing their headshots is what pays most of the bills and gives me a connection with my previous work, and the nice thing is that every now and again, someone I photographed will appear on TV. I’m never starstruck when they’re here, but I am a bit when I see them on the screen!
But I try to do as diverse a range of work as possible and particularly enjoy working with dancers and other performers.
