Dolan’s Cadillac is one of Stephen King’s best short stories (he has a few) which has now been adapted to a film. The short story original came out I think in the Dreamscapes and Nightmares compilation as the opening story and in my opinion the best. It is basically the story of a man who goes to elaborate measures to avenge the murder of his wife.
Perusing the video store the other day those two words Dolan’s Cadillac stuck out (well done you clever dick marketing fuckers) and then the pose and name of Christian Slater, who seemed to fall off the acting radar, despite great performances in True Romance and Broken Arrow. So as usual after hearing about a movie I ventured to IMDB and literally all the reviews were either loved it, giving it eight stars or loathed it, giving it one or two if lucky. So has anyone seen it? And is it worth me seeing?
